Urgent plea to find dog lost near Porthleven who has been out all night in wind and rain

AN urgent appeal has been issued to help locate a much-loved family dog who has been missing since Saturday afternoon and has endured a night out in stormy weather.

Olive, a female Border Collie, went missing on Saturday afternoon in Porthleven.

Owners Steve and Tara Keenan Trethowan said she disappeared “in a split second on a walk on the coastal path near to Tye Rock car park in Porthleven at lunchtime yesterday”.

The appeal has been shared via the Facebook page for The Bridal Studio in Helston, which Tara runs, and on the doglost.co.uk website.

The post late on Saturday night said: “We searched until dark, but were unable to find her. She is very friendly, but will be scared now.

“We will resume our search again at first light and ask that you can please share this post to help us find her, we are heartbroken and are desperate to find her.

“All of the relevant organisations have been made aware, but we would appreciate your help if you can share with your friends and family.

“Anyone who can help should call 07730 985868 or 07597 385945.
