The heartwarming moment owner is reunited with the stolen dog she thought she’d never see again.

When her beloved dog was stolen in north Manchester Katrina Smith feared the worst.

Katrina, 60, suffers from lung cancer and relied on Jack, a shih tzu, for emotional support.

So when he was snatched from outside a shop in Collyhurst in March she was devastated.

Following the theft, which was caught on CCTV, a huge social media campaign was launched.

Incredibly Jack was found 85 miles away in Shropshire and handed into a vets – and this is the heartwarming moment the pair were reunited.

Read full article here ( and video of Jack being reunited with owner) filmed By N/W co-ordinator Jay Chambers who along with the wonderful Lisa from Greyhound gap arranged the transport back to owner…It does not get any better than this!

Behind the scenes we were getting very close ( with info that was passed onto the police) and with all your support dog was too hot to handle and handed in to the vets…
