Paul O’Grady’s dog Olga dies.
The Cairn terrier cross had starred in her owner’s radio and TV shows and died on Saturday, according to the Sunday Mirror. ‘She was ready to go. At least I will have a good night’s sleep now. I have been up with her for two nights on the sofa. She’s been up in the night vomming and things,’ said Paul. ‘It’s the hardest thing to do but it’s the only thing to do. I knew it wasn’t Olga any more, she was gone.
Olga had battled cancer for many years, and four years ago Paul reportedly spent £8,000 on cancer treatment. Paul is a known lover of dogs, and he recently went into more detail after he was taken to hospital after lying in the gutter of Delhi for the latest series of his hit TV show For The Love Of Dogs.
