From Jill Trick (Wales Regional Co-ordinator)…
Just to give you an idea of what and who was involved in keeping little escapee Charm, safe at the M4 services during those 4 days and 3 freezing nights!
A discarded broken wheelie bin was used to make a bedding and feeding area, one pallet was placed in front of the bin as a step area, two cameras were set up to monitor her, lots of spicy meatballs wedged onto fencing links to attract her plus chicken left in a food bowl and one daily visit to check the food. Also, one nightly visit sat in freezing cars observing the car park area, lots of staff keeping an eye, one drone flown and the previous breeder left scenting.
And finally, 4 much needed pairs of wellied feet worn by us all 😁
Mazzy Roberts, Ruth Williams & John Davies we will never forget the mud, the cold and especially the lovely Charm ❤
Huge thanks to Anthony Bailey for transporting and also Pauline McNeill for keeping her safe overnight and giving her a much-needed shower 😁 x
