Bonnie on lost and found Channel 4.
I have been waiting for this episode! Normally a film crew of 3 to 4 go to film missing dogs…In this case just one camera turned up and before the rest could join him it all started to happen….How he managed to film everything constantly for hours on his own is amazing!
I was having regular updates via phone from local co-ordinator Clarkey aka Gina on the spot…so lovely to see what actually happened! And how many turned up to help!
So proud of everyone! Thank you helper that printed and laminated 250 posters….I guess that was you Clarkey as a little bird tells me you have a laminator!
Oh gosh! Now see what you were all going through…Fantastic support from the coast guards and fire brigade! Your emotions must have been running high with the light fading…
Amazing footage! Well done all!

Good to see the result of all the filming at last. It was one of our lovely Eastbourne helpers who did all those posters. I’d forgotten what an emotional experience it was that afternoon but definitely remember how relieved we all were when Bonnie came up uninjured.

Clarkey demonstrated just how far DogLost co-ordinators go to support owners. It was the most dramatic story that Hat Trick filmed for the series and we really didn’t know which way it was going to go. Thank goodness for Fire & Rescue and the coast guard.
