Where is Rosie? – #GetRosieHomeForXmas
Rosie, a Fox Red Labrador, has been missing from her home in the Swinton area of Greater Manchester since Tuesday 8th December 2020.
On the date in question, Rosie’s owner, Elaine, let her into the garden for around 10 minutes before noticing she had disappeared.

Despite extensive searching efforts in the area, there has been no confirmed sightings of Rosie; causing her owners to believe she may have been stolen.
Elaine said “I dread going downstairs every morning to see her empty bed; it’s all too quiet.”

“Whoever has Rosie won’t be able to keep her inside she as she is a fit energetic dog who needs lots of exercise, have you noticed a new dog in a neighbours garden?”
Elaine continued “Have you heard a dog bark that you haven’t heard before? Rosie likes you to wake up when she wakes up and she tells you.”
“Have you got CCTV at the front of your house where you can see people walking their dogs?”
Rosie’s owners will pay a substantial reward for any information that leads to the safe return of their beloved Labrador.

DogLost Co-ordinator, Claire Gresty, said “This incident is being investigated by Greater Manchester Police and officers have issued a CRN.”
“If you know where Rosie is or you have been offered Rosie, please call DogLost on 07771 713257 or 07916 215189 in the strictest confidence or you can call Greater Manchester Police on 101 or the Salford Dog Warden.”

Efforts have been made across social media to raise awareness of Rosie, including a social media reach event which took place at around 6pm on Saturday 19th December. The event was a great success, generating hundreds of thousands of impressions across Instagram & Facebook, using the hashtag #GetRosieHomeForXmas.
Special thanks to Emma Conway for planning this, Charlotte at Fox Red Prints for designing the bespoke print and all the human & canine supporters.

Great piece and beautiful photos. Someone, somewhere knows where is. There is too much heartbreak in the world at the moment, be kind and let her go home
