The perfect Bristol pub crawl to bring the dog on has been invented
ust one week after it was revealed that dachshund and pug cafés are coming to Bristol, a new doggy pub crawl has also been announced to take place here.
The Hair of the Dog Pup Crawl will stop off at some of Bristol’s best pubs on Saturday, March 2 with dogs of all shapes and sizes and their owners invited to join in.
It will kick off at Horts on Broad Street at 2pm before heading to dog-friendly bars BrewDog, The Rummer, Prince Street Social and Wild Beer, where the route finishes.
Along the boozy tour there will be a prize handed out to the best-behaved pooch as well as pupcakes, discounts and doggy bags.
The unique event is being organised by Dog Furiendly, a new interactive website for dog owners looking for places in the UK to take their 4-legged companions, who have so far held two well-received crawls in other UK cities.
Adele Pember, founder of Dog Furiendly, said: “Our Dog Furiendly pub crawls have been successful in Cardiff and Glasgow, so we’re very excited to bring one to Bristol.
“We’re collaborating with a selection of our favourite dog friendly bars across Bristol, all offering exclusive deals for the dog owners involved.”
Tickets to Hair of the Dog cost £15, which also includes ‘pawsecco’ and snacks for the pampered pooches, a Hair of the Dog t-shirt, exclusive offers, games and prizes throughout the night.
They can be purchased on Eventbrite’s website.
