Puppy stolen at knife-point during morning walk with owner

A six-month-old Labradoodle has been stolen at knife-point during a morning walk. Waffle had been with his owner at a park in St Austell, Cornwall, at around 7am when a man approached them and threatened her with a knife. The man is described by Devon and Cornwall Police as being around 5ft 8in and dressed in all black. Officers said he disguised himself with a hooded top and a scarf, but spoke with a foreign accent. Ayesha, one of Waffle’s owners, stated that her family had been left ‘distraught’ by the incident. She asked her Facebook friends to keep sharing a picture of the dog, writing: ‘Please bring our boy home before Christmas. Let’s make him to hot to handle.’ Anyone with information is urged to call police on 101, or email 101@dc.police.uk, quoting log number 0116 231219.
