Pip puts her seal of approval on local groups working together
When Pip the Cockerpoo went missing in Mugdock Country Park in Glasgow around lunchtime on Tuesday 17th September, the family called on the power of Facebook and DogLost to help spread the word.
With the benefit of the instant poster generated from the DogLost website, and local Facebook groups including Lost Dogs Glasgow, DogLost Central Scotland and local community groups, word quickly spread.
Friends and helpers from Lost Dogs Glasgow searched the area during the early hours with one credible sighting just after midnight.
Another sighting around 6.30am placed Pip on the Auchenhowie road near the Rangers Training Centre.
It was later in the day that word came in that Pip had been found safe inside the Rangers Training Centre’s 38 acre site at Auchenhowie, Milngavie.
From Nicola:
A massive thank you to everyone. Lost Dogs Glasgow who voluntarily searched until 2 am, Mandy, Clair, Nigel, Kirsty, Ian, Alison, and everyone who has been searching, sharing and showing us love and support.
A big thank you to the Rangers Football club training ground team pictured below who are stars.
