Local MP visits Leigh cats and dogs home.

Yesterday a meeting took place with Jo Platt MP and lcdh and a representative of DogLost…. We are so pleased that Jo Platt agrees that dog theft should be a crime in its own right and that she agrees that Dog theft should carry a higher sentence. We at DogLost look forward to jo platt coming on board to help with this. We also see that Jo Platt agrees that the issue of online Abuse needs tackling through parliament. We stick by the licks award given to leigh cats and dogs home. From the feed back Jo Platt had no issues with the facilities at the home. And only requested that maybe lcdh should be more transparent.

Great to see the Local MP visiting and not finding anything untoward at Leigh cats and dogs home….as indeed have other organizations who have visited. Its refreshing to read that the MP takes on board the issue of online abuse and we look forward to Jo bringing this up in Parliament…

Totally agree especially as this home have been victims of a hate campaign born over issues of years ago… Totally different people running it now..So lets just give them a chance to get on with their job now back up by a local MP who has seen the place for herself!!
