Dogs Trust checkup and chip event in Carlisle
Carlisle City Council and Dogs Trust are working together to host a free microchipping event for dogs.
The event, which will take place on 3 February between 11am and 3pm at St Barnabas Church, Brookside, Carlisle, will give dog owners with the chance to get their pet microchipped free of charge.
There will also be a free basic health check and an advice clinic providing tips on dog ownership on offer.
All breeds of dogs are welcome, whether a pup or an adult, however, Dogs Trust will not chip active hunting hounds or litters of puppies.
They ask that puppies under six-month-old are fully vaccinated and proof of vaccinations are brought along to the event.
No appointment is needed as they operate on a drop-in basis and they ask that you keep your dog on a lead while attending the event.
