Dog is very happy at being smashed out of hot car where it was locked for two hours

Police had to smash a dog out of a car yesterday after it was left there by its owners for two hours while they went shopping. However, while the dog appeared very pleased to have been released from the vehicle in Plymouth city centre, the owners were not so pleased. Officers revealed they were unhappy because the window of their car was smashed to free the puppy and prevent it from dying as a result of overheating. The dog was freed at 4pm yesterday afternoon and a parking ticket on the dashboard suggested they had left the dog at around 2pm. Posting a picture of dog humping a police officer’s leg, Charles Cross Police Team said: ‘He was very happy to be set free!’
