Appeal to fund emergency surgery for dog injured in accident

A fundraising appeal has been launched to fund the emergency treatment needed by a dog who has been injured in a traffic accident.

South Lincs Vets Group will be operating on the dog, who is not microchipped, to repair a fracture as soon as he is stable enough to undergo surgery.

The practice is working with a charity but say that treatment is costly even with discounts and are appealing for help.

The group states in a social media post: “We understand times are hard for everyone at the moment but if you could spare any donation big or small, we, the charity, and this gorgeous boy would really appreciate the help and kindness.

“We are acting on the best interests of the dog and posting to help fund the care of this lovely boy.”

The practice is also asking for people to put forward names for this handsome boy.

If you would like to make a donation please the surgery on 01205 345345 during opening hours.
