A massive thank you from the DogLost North West Fundraising Team
As some of you may be aware, the North West team set up a fundraising group a few weeks ago, in order to raise funds for much needed equipment. The first piece of equipment that we wanted to purchase was a Pulsar Helion XQ50F Thermal Imager, and we are absolutely delighted to tell you we have ordered, paid and received it!! This item was not cheap, it cost a whopping £2518.60, but this will be an absolute god send helping to locate dogs that could be hiding, trapped, or out of the field of view of the human eye.
We would like to thank every single person who contributed, whether you bought items on the raffles, guess the name cards, bought Shelley’s amazing pebble art, or other items we had on offer.
Also a great big thank you to all those who donated items for us to sell or raffle off – everyone’s generosity in the climate we are in at the moment, has been absolutely phenomenal.
We have had donations from £1, right upto £361!!! Thank you to each and every one of you.
Special thanks go to Nicky B, who has been a supporter of DogLost for many years. We will be eternally grateful to you
Also, Chops Carter, Paul Allman and Angela Hoy from #itsallabouttheanimals, for donating the final £361, which allowed to us to ahead and order the thermal scope. I think we are all still in shock and cannot thank you enough! We are so honoured and proud to work alongside you.
Finally, Peter – the very handsome black Labrador (pictured above). He has not been able to spend his paw-ket money through lockdown and donated a whopping £50!! Thank you Peter!!
We plan to keep the fundraising group open which still has items running, and we will be adding more things over the new few weeks, as we are looking to raise funds next for 2 large traps and ring doorbells. So please look out for new prizes!
Finally, we really could not have done this without you all, so a GREAT BIG THANK YOU! From Claire, Will, Jonathan, Shelley, Jay, Gemma and Jan xx
